“Daily Caffeine ‘Protects Brain'”

In the boy-I-hope-this-is-true department, the BBC says:

Coffee may cut the risk of dementia by blocking the damage cholesterol can inflict on the body, research suggests. The drink has already been linked to a lower risk of Alzheimer’s Disease, and a study by a US team for the Journal of Neuroinflammation may explain why.

There is no other way I can really justify my daily four cups of coffee in the morning, followed by a cup of tea or two in the afternoon with maybe a soda thrown in there somewhere habit.

So thank you Journal of Neuroinflammation for opening broad new vistas of rationalization. That’s no monkey on my back; that’s my daily health regimen.
