A conversation at home tonight while watching the greatest songs of the 1980s countdown on VH1:
“Remember back when we were kids and this used to be the music channel for old people?”
“It still is the music channel for old people.”
We then proceeded to watch Dazed and Confused and drew comfort from the fact that while we may be old by present-day VH1 standards, at least we’re not that old.
